In order to guarantee a fast delivery and good understanding with you as our customer, we, at Ahead-IT, use a fixed order procedure, applicable at every order.
1. You order the desired products via our website (preferably), via E-mail or fax.
2. You will receive a PDF invoice, which needs to be paid in advance within 7 days.*
3. Your order will be carefully assembled, tested and prepared for transport.
4. After confirmation of your payment by our bank/online payment platform your order will be sent straight away.*
* = not applicable to accounts with a credit limit; this account allows you to pay up to 30 days after delivery (see ‘Payment possibilities’ for more information).
After order/payment all products/parts which are in stock will be reserved for you immediately. If certain products/parts are not in stock, they will be ordered from our suppliers.
As soon as all products/parts that are needed to assemble your systems are in stock, the actual assembling will start, the test procedure and preparing for transport.
If it concerns a tailor-made product, an advance payment is required before we order any products needed for the realisation of your order. (e.g.: software licenses, racks, some switches, ... )
After confirmation of payment by our bank or online payment platform, the order will be sent straight away providing it is already ready for transport.
You are welcome to send a POP (proof of payment) via your customer account if you did not pay via our online payment platform. This in order to speed up the settlement of the order.
To be able to deliver your order as soon as possible, Ahead-IT has, on average, about 100 servers of various kinds in stock in the warehouse in Ghent. This offers us the possibility of delivering very fast, a few days after you placed the order, at most. We also carry plentiful stock of workstations, VPS/storage & individual parts.
All products/parts are in stock: 1 to 2 working days after confirmation of payment. If not all the products/parts are in stock, you best call us about the delivery time, which is generally 3 to 8 working days. Do you have an urgent order? Be sure to mention this when you order!
This is the time between sending the order by us and the delivery at the customer’s. We only send via UPS and express, we do not send anything by mail, not even a small order!
UPS: Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg: 1 working day (send on Wednesday = delivered Thursday)

A very important or urgent order can also be delivered by express. In that case it is possible to have the ordered products in your possession within a few hours.
This service is possible at a charge of 0.50 EUR excl. VAT per kilometre travelled. (take into account that also the return journey has to be paid for)

Transport UPS more than 1 package: 25 EUR excl. VAT
Above-mentioned prices are only valid for Belgium and the Netherlands. Other countries: Price on request.
Complete servers, storage, VPS, blade servers and workstations are delivered for free within the European Union. If you order any extra peripheral equipment in the same order, e.g. hard drives or switches, then these will be sent along without any extra transport costs!
